ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE MANAGER

The Company

Slashkernel is a unique international technological group based in Brussels, Belgium. We gather 60 eclectic people from 15 different nationalities including numerous PhDs, a variety of complementary expertize fields, a marketing and commercial gospel as well as a caring HR and support team.

Thanks to more than 25 years of experience, our 3 companies (ERTMS Solutions, Raincode , Logic.Tools) have been developing a wide scope of tailor-made products and services covering a wealth of techniques, platforms and geographies. Partnering with the biggest names in our industry, we conceive innovative solutions through continuous R&D efforts and active team-working.

The Job

Together with the CEO, you will define and supervise the administrative (procedures, operations, legal affairs, human resources, general services, etc.) and financial (accounting, treasury, taxation, management control, internal audit, purchasing, etc.) management for the 3 companies of the group.

You are in charge of:

• Interacting with the COO’s, the Accountant and the HRD to keep a close understanding of internal customers’ needs
• Understanding and auditing the current cost structure and financial processes of the group and its companies
• Maintaining updated financial information and monitoring the cash-flows, treasury and costs
• Drawing up analytical accounts of the expenditure, enabling the proportion of its services supplied to each cost center
• Monitoring the evolution of the budgets, allocating adequate budgets and challenging the P&L forecasts of the different business units
• Coordinating with banks and financial institutions and following payment and expense activities
• Negotiating and contracting with the banks and insurances
• Analyzing investment needs and approve investment requests
• Proposing and setting up reporting and controlling systems
• Integrating the different sources of financial information to create consistent procedures
• Identifying financial performance improvement opportunities and propose efficient methods, processes and tools
• Identifying, filing and following local and European subsidies related to the assets, activities and payroll
• Optimizing and approving purchasing activities and negotiating with the group providers

The profile

• You have a Master’s degree in Management, Finance or Economics
• You have 5 years of experience in a similar function
• You have a pragmatic approach, an eye for details and a client-oriented mind
• You are a fast-learner, you are curious and autonomous
• You are proactive and not afraid of taking initiatives
• You are fluent in French and English. Fluency in Dutch and any other European language is a plus
