The opportunity

Within this context Worldline is subject to regulatory requirements to implement Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures and monitor merchant accounts for activity that might be linked to money laundering or terrorist financing.


Your day-to-day responsibilities include

  • Act as the guardian of the global KYC/AML process and be the principle point of contact for KYC/AML related topics between the operating business and 1st Line Risk and Compliance
  • Perform KYC quality assessments, implement guidelines for quality monitoring
  • Maintain internal procedure documents (PEP handling documentation, AML Control Framework revision, other KYC related documents )
  • Handle AML alerts (PEP, Sanctions) as the First Line Approval Manager
  • Provide support in ensuring KYC processes are procedures are adequately designed to meet AML regulatory requirements
  • Support the AML reporting to the National Bank of Belgium and the Financial Intelligence Processing Unit (CTIF-CFI)
  • Support the projects within KYC/AML area.


Signs of success

  • Master in Economics, Finance, Law or equivalent
  • Degree/Certificate in AML/CFT or fight against financial crime is a strong plus
  • Prior AML/KYC experience ideally in the financial sector
  • Knowledge of the payment industry is a strong plus
  • Excellent analytical skills with eye for detail
  • Adequate knowledge of standard IT applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,…)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English both verbally and written
  • Results driven and persistent
  • Multicultural mindset and flexibility, able to work in an international environment
