The Role

As a Test & Demo Application Engineer, you will be at the heart of our technical sales and R&D efforts, demonstrating the capabilities of high-tech machinery to customers, running tests, and ensuring that everything operates at peak performance. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll bridge the gap between engineering and real-world application.

Your Responsibilities

✅ Conducting tests and demos of our advanced machinery, showing clients the full potential of our technology.

✅ Setting up, fine-tuning, and maintaining demo machines to ensure they are always ready for action.

✅ Analyzing customer needs and adapting machine configurations accordingly.

✅ Writing technical reports on machine settings and test results.

✅ Providing technical training to clients on machine operation and maintenance.

✅ Ensuring the demo hall is in top shape, keeping machines well-maintained and organized.

✅ Collaborating with the sales team to ensure seamless customer experiences.

What We’re Looking For

✔ Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electromechanics, Electronics, or a related technical field.

✔ Hands-on experience in a technical role (e.g., field service, application engineering, or technical sales).

✔ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

✔ Fluent in Dutch and English (French/German is a plus!).

✔ A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.

✔ Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving skills.

✔ Willingness to occasionally travel for client demos (but with a primary focus on Leuven-based work).
