The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Polymer Application Engineer (*)located in Zwijndrecht, Belgium for Advanced Materials Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Driving core and new product penetration into existing customers and markets

• Engaging with field sales to provide technical understanding and training of the process and applications relating to products, customers and markets

• Identifying the best 3M solution for an application through testing and analyzing the results. Communicating results to customers through written reports

• Troubleshooting issues with applications by working with the customer, possibly in their facility, to identify the root cause & implement solutions

• Collaborating with Research and Development, Marketing and Business leaders to provide "voice of customer" and new product ideas

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution

• Experience inLaboratory, manufacturing, or customer technical support experience in a chemical, polymer or rubber industry

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Good English skills
