Job Description

Resource Inventory intelligence is all about gathering assets and components and storing them in centralized applications. Afterwards this data is used to manage the assets and components supported by clearly defined business processes. The applications are used by our network design and build teams.

The List Below Provides a Short Overview Of The Content Of These Programs

We have several business programs to build a bridge between the outside and inside world and between mobile and fixed networks.
  • Inventorize equipment and logical parameters needed to install and configure a Radio Access Network site. Incorporate all the relevant RAN Build business processes and maintain the different PNI and LNI RAN configurations.
  • Inventorize the inside world, also known as transmission access network.
  • Inventorize all coax and fiber components of the outside world. Ensure that infrastructure is visualized on the exact physical location.
  • Inventorize customer facing services and resource facing services together with their inter dependencies.
  • Monitor the network performance of our mobile network
Profile

We are looking for a Junior engineer, 0 – 3 yrs experience, dynamic, eager to learn.

Area: Network inventory systems and Mobile performance monitoring systems. We use "of the shelve" platforms and integrate them in our overall application landscape.

Basic software engineering skills required. Analysis, solution finding, configuration, scripting, building interfaces, handling and manipulating of data, trouble shooting; so not a "pur sang" developper.
  • Good documentation skills. We use Jira and Confluence as tools.
  • Fluent in contacting people, good communication with both technical and business stakeholders, patient.
  • Preferably engineering degree or technical oriented studies. Strong interest to work in a technical / telco / mobile environment. Some telco experience is a plus
  • Fluent English is a must; Dutch is a plus
  • Will be mentored by our senior application expert in this area and given all opportunities to grow and build expertise in telco engineering.
  • Will be working in an agile team (aka squad), working together with other specialists in the team and from our vendors, as well as different users and specialists from other domains
