For our Manufacturing Site in Heist-op-den-Berg we are currently looking for an:
Asset Manager Utilities – Facility Management
Welcome to our team
The Facility Management (FM) department is responsible for the technical maintenance and management of installations in the factory such as steam, cooling water, HVAC and electrical installations.
Purpose of the Role
Reporting into the Associate Director Facility Management, you will be responsible for performance and reliability optimization of the designated assets within FM, against optimal life cycle costs. You will initiate and enable improvements for the FM assets and maintain asset related documents (e.g. as-build documentation) up-to-date and compliant to GxP & EHS requirements. You will initiate new preventive and predictive Maintenance plans and improve existing plans. Internally you will closely work together with your peers in FM, the production units (IPTs), engineering department, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and Quality departments. Externally you will work together with the IFM provider and projects contractors and suppliers.
Main Responsibilities
Reliable assets/ installations
- Collect and monitor data and perform trending on performance, reliability and costs in order to make recommendations for improvements;
- Train and instruct IFM-provider personnel by the execution of asset support related activities;
- Obtain and maintain knowledge of the designated assets with regards to set up, capacity, energy usage etc. of the systems in all building where applicable.
Maintenance
- Follow-up of maintenance (predictive, preventive and corrective) activities in the field (internal and contractors);
- Perform work preparation in order to increase the wrench time of the technicians and reduce the downtime of the equipment;
- Initiate corrective workorders in SAP for follow-up.
Continuous improvement
- Improve the performance (compliance, financial and robustness) of complex (automated) assets;
- Lead small Capex and other improvement projects for FM;
- Develop standardized work methods to maintain the designated assets;
- Train and instruct IFM personnel when implementing new or modified FM-assets;
- Write or modify SOP’s/ WI’s for FM.
Commissioning
- Collect calibration, corrective- and preventive maintenance data to recommission assets if applicable;
- Ensure technical documentation is up-to-date;
- Involved during the commissioning of new installation.
Change, Deviation Control and Problem Solving
- Asses asset related deviations applying problem solving tools and Root Cause Analysis (PDCA, Fishbone, …);
- Initiate or take necessary actions to follow-up on deviations;
- Propose and implement corrective and preventive actions;
- Change owner for technical changes.
GMP and EHS
- Participate as an engineer in projects to improve EHS or GxP practices;
- Initiate and update ECP (Energy Control Procedures);
- Comply with GxP and EHS requirements;
- Initiate working permits for high risk work activities with follow up at the floor;
- Participate in audits or inspections.
Your Profile
- Professional Bachelor or Engineering degree in the field of the designated assets (mechanical / electrical);
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field of the designated assets;
- In depth knowledge of designated assets;
- Passion for Lean and continuous improvement;
- Project management experience is a plus;
- Good balance between short term priorities and long-term process improvements;
- Hands-on – boots on the ground mentality and a teamplayer;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Fluent in both English and Dutch language, both spoken and written.
