Job Summary

As a passionate Junior Business Analyst Data & Analytics, you’ll fulfil the role of a proactive partner towards the Terumo Business. You spar with them regarding their needs of data & analytics tools and come to a solution that meet their needs. Consequently, you’ll contribute to supporting and developing a standardized ICT application portfolio. To fulfil your role, you’ll actively manage qualitative relationships with all business partners within Terumo Europe, as well as within our sister company, Terumo Aortic. You’ll report directly to the ICT Applications Manager.

Job Responsibilities

As our Junior Business Analyst, you’ll manage projects and change requests. You’ll support and follow up on the quality aspects of projects, while working closely with the IT BA team. In addition, you’ll need to verify and test new developed projects, as well as change requests, to ensure that a successful implementation is achieved at all times.

By fulfilling your role, you’ll be responsible for analysing requirements to ensure clear problem definition can be attained, while taking into account all the possibilities and restrictions. Additionally, you’ll communicate and report proactively, formally, frequently and clearly with all stakeholders (internal and external), concerning all relevant matters. In general, you’ll function as a liaison between the business, ICT and supporting third parties. Thereby, you’ll facilitate the exchange of ideas and expertise to contribute towards the continuous improvement of tools, methods and procedures.

You’ll support the current IT applications by providing follow-up and by documenting incidents, including the necessary root cause analysis. You’ll also stimulate the further improvement of quality concerning in-use processes and it applications.

You remain well informed at all times, about evolutions and developments related to IT application. Additionally, you’ll guarantee an up-to-date documentation of IT application ensuring the continuous functioning, as well as the compliance with Terumo applicable regulations (e.g. ISO13485, J-SOX).

Profile Description

You have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant education, like BaNaBa Data & Analytics. We are open for dynamic and eager to learn starter, but we also welcome candidates with a first experience in a similar role with SAP BW4Hana, MS Power BI or other Data Science Languages.
You’re highly proficient in English and Dutch. This entails both the verbal and writing skills. The proficiency in other languages will be regarded as an asset.

You possess strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. You listen to the needs of the business, but can also ask powerful questions, to discover if what they ask is really what they need. You’re a team player, but are also able to work independently.
