Job Summary: Responsible for improving and achieving the Company’s market and financial growth targets while executing long-term strategic goals in Europe.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manages Regional key accounts for large international clients while building and maintaining strategic distribution partnerships

· Retains existing business relationships while striving for maximum levels of profitability for the company, as well as, maintaining maximum customer satisfaction levels

· Grows and implements new business in line with expectations of all stakeholders while accurately managing an active sales pipeline

· Grows and maintains exceptional customer relationships

· Negotiates and closes business deals

· Set sales targets and defines strategies for achievement of targets, as well as, exceeds on time delivery expectations

· Manages the customer contact program

· Develops business plans and initiates marketing strategies to coordinate actions for market influencing

· With cooperation of the CCO, Foodservice, anticipates, proposes and modifies short-term sales objectives for the sales region in line with market requirements and trends

· Ensure all contracts are accurately implemented while managing contract performance, customer payment terms, delivery terms and complaints. Manages reporting accordingly in collaboration with Customer Service (CS HGS) and Factory (HGS Factory) teams.

· Researches and presents new business opportunities to ensure an accurate and targeted sales pipeline is in place with a corresponding action plan

· With the support of key stakeholders, ensures sales tenders are managed to the highest standards to achieve top class conversion levels

· Responsible for managing and achieving the annual Regional sales budget

· Works with the sales and customer service teams to accurately implement the customer’s business model

· Maintains extensive knowledge of the current market conditions and trends to anticipate future customer needs.

Qualifications

Education:

· Bachelor / university degree in Economics or any related discipline

Work Experience:

· Minimum five to ten years of sales experience in the Foodservice industry, preferably with a top company in the industry

· Robust and current knowledge of the International Foodservice market – QSR market eg McDonalds

· Strategy and management experience

Technical Skills:(Certification, Licenses and Registration)

  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP systems helpful

Language / Communication Skills:

· Fluent English, both orally and in writing with excellent communication and presentation skills

Travel %: Up to 40%

Internal Relationships: European sales team, including CCO Foodservice, Production Management, Manufacturing Director, Customer Service, Sales Support and Procurement Department

External Relationships:Customers and Divisional Management

Work Environment / Requirements of the Job: Normal office environment. This role is the primary sales contact for this region; thus, may be expected to perform work outside of normal business hours.

Budget / Revenue Responsibility: 20-45M CHF
