Your day at NTT DATA
The Business Development Representative is a skilled and experienced resource, responsible qualifying client leads generated through marketing campaigns, social media, or specific client or industry events.This role forms part of the marketing demand generation team responsible for managing marketing campaigns, social media, and specific client or industry events to generate leads to drive pipeline growth.
This role is responsible for passing all qualified leads onto the relevant sales team for further engagement and opportunity creation.
What you’ll be doing
This role exists of
- 80% lead generation
- 10% Conduct research to identify new markets/contacts and customer needs.
- 10% sales education : you will be part of the sales academy where you get to learn how to be a successful sales , get to understand our portfolio and all the skills needed to be successful in your future role
Your role
- You’ll handle a mix of hot and cold leads coming through various marketing channels and tools (website, marketplaces, inbound calls, hunting tools), qualifying them via phone and email communication.
- You’ll engage in conversations with prospects to fully warm them up to the company’s model and determine which leads fit best.
- Once a match is made between the prospect and the company, you’ll hand them over to the sales team. You’ll work closely with them to help find new projects and open new doors.
- You’ll conduct research on our target client based, consumer behavior, market trends, product developments and lead acquisition methods
- You are the bridge between marketing and sales!
Ideal profile
- You are autonomous, organised, punctual and have a sense of responsibility.
- You hold passion, initiative, respect, and professionalism in high regard.
- You are customer-oriented, communicatively strong, and persistent.
- You are a team player, driven to achieve results.
- You have initial experience with B2B communication, customer/relationship management, and pipeline management.
- You have at least 6 months of work experience, preferably in a sales-related role.
- Knowledge of IT is a plus.
- Experience in cold calling, hunting & prospecting is a plus.
- Experience as an SDR/BDR is a bonus.
- Experience with CRM tool SFDC is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- You communicate fluently in French or Dutch; both languages are a plus but not required.
- You have a very good knowledge of French or Dutch complemented by a good knowledge of English.
- You want to grow into an external sales position within a maximum of 3 years
