As an IT Project Manager, you will work closely with a team of business analysts, developers and architects working for the European Commission, leading the IT maintenance and development of IT systems.

You will be tasked with the timely delivery and management of development and maintenance of European Commission IT systems and platforms, managing the implementation of IT modules and components as per the underlying software architecture. You will be in charge of scheduling, prioritizing and coordinating all the tasks to successfully meet project milestones, objectives and deliverables within agreed timeframes and budgets.

We are looking for candidates with knowledge on the most common Commission technical frameworks, ways of working and procedures, with an excellent communication skills in English, can manage their time efficiently when tasked with multiple parallel activities, has great precision and attention to detail, and demonstrates a keen interest and experience in a wide variety of technologies, e.g., semantic technologies, J2EE, NLP, AI and Commission frameworks.

You will be involved in:
Managing the implementation of requirements in the form of IT components and tools
Interacting with a wide variety of stakeholders from both IT and business units, and a number of technical teams
Preparing reports and reporting through different meetings to the client about the standing of the implementation, reporting on the status of the schedule, risks and budget
Participating in a number of meetings to discuss the IT implementation aspects of requirements.
Participating in the elaboration of IT studies and notes in collaboration with the IT architect
Following up the contract and its deliverables in a timely manner
