Required Security Clearance: NATO SECRET

Duties and Role:

  • Install and configure new equipment to data centers including fiber and copper cabling
  • Replace failing parts in a timely manner
  • Turn-in of the obsolete and/or not used IT equipment to the warehouse
  • Organizing, running and managing a stock of spare parts
  • Supporting the team by daily business and performs other duties as may be required
Specific Working Conditions: Some work outside normal office hours may be required

Up to 50 TDY within Belgium per year

Requirements

Some travel to other NATO sites may be required

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

  • The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • Sound knowledge of datacenter environments:
  • Rack and stack
  • Data center cabling and infrastructure
  • Rack and aisle buildout and installation
  • Cable patching
  • Using Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Using asset management applications
  • Coordination of appointments
  • Communication with other branches and sections
