Our colleagues in the Revenue Growth & Category Management teamare looking for a new Category Manager BeLux.

It’s a team of 7 people, based in Belgium (Zaventem) and in the Netherlands (‘s Hertogenbosch). The role of Category Manager Belux is based in the Belgian office. You will report directly to the Benelux Revenue Growth & Channel Lead (Belgium based).


HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING


You will be leading the Customer Category Management for Belgium & Luxemburg for all categories (Cereals, Salty Snacks & Wholesome snacks) and will be mainly responsible for:


Developing and presenting the Customer Assortment Strategies & Trade stories for Belgium & Luxemburg, in line with the Benelux Shopper & Category Vision and the Benelux Cross-Channel Assortment Strategy
Customer Category Business reviews
Customer Planograms
Category & Assortment Performance Analyses & Presentations (including: internal dashboard management)
Local contact with Research & Panel agencies (GFK, Nielsen, …)

Your key internal stakeholders are your colleagues from: Sales, Shopper Category, Revenue Growth and Marketing.


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS


  • Education: Master’s degree in Business
  • Work experience: Minimum 5 years in FMCG on the Belgian market, with previous experience in Category Management and/or Key Account Management
  • Languages: fluent in Dutch, French & English
  • Good knowledge of the Belgian Food Retail landscape
  • Good knowledge of P&L management (Net Sales Value, Gross Profit, … )
  • Strong Analytical skills & a passion for Data
  • Strategic Mindset
  • Pro-active with a Can-Do mindset
  • Strong Communication & Presentation skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong proficiency in Panel data (e.g. Nielsen & GFK)
  • Strong proficiency in JDA Space Planning
  • Driver’s license B
