The Job’s MissionThe Clinical Support Specialist responsibilities include directly supporting products associated with hip and knee procedures and optimizing customer service. This role within Flanders will focus on supporting our customers to provide a best in class procedural solution.
Additional responsibilities also include working with the local sales representative to coordinate training and in-theater support to ensure exceptional levels of customer care both in theaters and in the wider hospital are delivered.
Key Activities & Accountabilities
- Service existing customer base within the theater and clinical environment
- Provide theater and other HCP staff training on the products
- Working closely with other team members within the defined region, and the National Sales Manager, to ensure customer service levels are best in class.
- Auditing theater and hospital stock (implants, disposables and instruments) – managing consignment levels and ensuring good asset management and stock rotation
- Understand the clinical application of the broader portfolio to offer our customers the best possible solution
- Conducting trials and evaluations of product in theater and clinical environment as required
- Additional responsibilities as directed by NSM (National Sales Manager).
This encompasses in particular:
Certified scrub nurse, professional training in a medical environment preferred.
Experience
Theater experience essential. Minimum 2 years experience of orthopedic theaters.
Commercial acumen essential. Must have awareness of budgetary and cost issues surrounding theaters and surgical procedures.
Computer skills, MS Office.
Presentation skills with modern presentation media.
Workshop/demonstration skills inc. anatomy and physiology.
