The job

3E is looking for a talented junior Lisp/Clojure developer to join a multidisciplinary team of developers, scientists and engineers that implement, operate and commercializeSynaptiQ worldwide.

Your focus is on the implementation and testing of SynaptiQ’s REST API that is Clojure based, and its support towards third-party client applications.

As a long term objective and as you’ll grow more familiar with the product, you will own the entire lifecycle of the platform, that is from the architecture and development of new features to its deployment and operation in production environment.

Skills and Experience

  • Junior developer with Master degree in IT or IT engineering.
  • Hands-on experience or strong affinity with REPL based development in Clojure or other Lisp dialects.
  • Must feel comfortable programming without the strong guarantees of a static type system and user friendly stack traces.
  • Prior experience with functional languages like Haskell or Scala is a strong asset.
  • Prior experience with MySQL and JavaScript is also an asset.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
