Our client has a large and global Azure cloud platform and will be expanding quite extensive over the next 3 years. Different Business Areas/Divisions build applications themselves in this cloud platform hence from a global Solution & Architecture team we create/maintain a platform to make this easy for our business and we operate central managed components.

We integrate with a lot of other solutions like an ITSM/IPAM tools hence automation towards these tools is important to keep them up to date or to use them as an information source.

Roles & responsibilities

  • You will be joining our Cloud Center of Excellence of the global Solution & Architecture team.
  • You will be responsible for creating all kinds of automations to make processes running faster, more predictable, or automatic remediations without human intervention
  • You will be responsible for creating templates to head start new cloud application/solutions/projects
  • With the help of automation, you create new insights in the cloud platform
  • Since we are looking for T-shaped profiles you have the ability to help out in other areas of your interest in the cloud platform

Experience Requirements

  • General experience in Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps
  • You have experience in automating in different kinds of areas in the cloud platform as well as integrating with different platforms.
  • You have knowledge about a good functioning CI/CD pipeline and DevOps way of working.
  • You have knowledge of different (programming) languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, ...) or 1 programming language and willing to learn another.
  • Experience with GIT
  • Experience with using/creating Rest/JSON APIs
  • Experience in Infrastructure as code is a plus

Technical skills:

  • Programming skills in different languages (or willing to learn)
  • Rest/JSON/GIT knowledge
  • Azure platform knowledge
  • Azure DevOps knowledge
  • Security knowledge
  • Infrastructure as code knowledge(plus)

Non-technical skills:

  • A person with a passion for the job
