Main Purpose

Napoleon Games is embarking on an exciting new 3-year strategy. This strategy will:

• Build upon our leading Casino market share, well-recognised & highly trusted brand, and strong customer focus.
• We’re seeking to deliver step change improvements in our digital marketing, multichannel capabilities, and Sports product and proposition, while further extending our Online Casinos strengths.
• Our target is to grow the business by at least 15% per year, leading to doubling the business in the next 4 years.
• To help fast-track our Online Casino growth ambition we have created a dedicated, agile Casino P&L team. We are now looking for a sharp, ambitious and analytically savvy person to join a new, team with a lot of responsibility. As Commercial Analyst- Online Casino you will support the Casinos P&L Department in the realization of their business objectives.

To successfully deliver against this strategy, we are looking for an Online Casino Commercial Analyst. This is a key role in our organisation, reporting to the Head of Online Casinos P&L. You will be responsible, together with the Casinos P&L team for shaping the future growth of the business and delivering the great business insights to help your colleagues in the Casinos P&L team and the wider organization take the right, informed decisions.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Although there is a degree of freedom in shaping your role together with your manager, as a Commercial Analyst – Online Casino, you can expect to be responsible for:

• Casino P&L performance analysis and deep dives, to uncover and explain areas of under or over-performance of the business, as well as recommendations to the business stemming from the analysis insights.
• Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process for the Casino P&L.
• Collecting and analysing data to understand customer preferences and form recommendations around how the business should react and adjust to that.
• Collecting and analysing data to understand our competitors’ offer and product strengths and form recommendations around how the business should react and adjust to that.
• Leading ample and complex ROI analyses across several areas of the Casino business (e.g., ROI by marketing channel, ROI by type of customer generosity, etc.) and derive optimization initiatives for the business to undertake.

In addition, you will also be responsible for:

• Identifying and defining improvement initiatives for the Casino business, as well as overseeing their implementation and execution and tracking their performance.
• Helping initiative owners from the wider business create business cases for their Casino-related initiatives (thinking through and analysing the potential KPI-related and financial implications of their ideas).

Core competencies for the role:

• Previous Business Analyst experience: at least 3 years of previous experience working in a Business Analyst position, or similar.
• Good business acumen:Able to understand and navigate a business P&L, as well as deriving insights, trends, and business implications from it. Experience around the financial drivers of an online business is a plus.
• Passion for online casino
• Being analytically savvy:Able to analyse complex data sets and derive useful insights from it.
• Synthesis and communication:Capable of synthesizing complex insights and clearly communicating the outcomes and relevant actions to the wider business.
• Good research know-how:being able to set up and conduct various research pieces and experiments, as well as being familiar with the tools for doing so (surveys, focus groups, A/B testing).
• Have a demonstrable understanding of the needs, habits and segmentation of customers leading to an effective customer acquisition and retention strategy
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite(Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Knowledge of SQL and Tableau is a plus.
• Standalone, resourcefulness, can-do attitude and attention to detailare all important characteristics to make you successful in this role.
• Good communication skills in English both written and oral. Knowledge of Dutch and French is a strong plus.
