We’re looking for a Communication or Navigation Systems Engineer Department: Engineering / Avionics / Aerospace Systems .

About the role

As a Communication or Navigation Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, integration, and validation of cutting-edge communication and/or navigation systems for aerospace platforms. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate communication or navigation subsystems for aircraft or spacecraft (e.g., VHF/UHF radios, SATCOM, GNSS, inertial navigation, ADS-B, datalink systems).
  • Define system architecture, interfaces, and requirements in collaboration with other engineering teams (systems, avionics, software, hardware).
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation: system specifications, interface control documents (ICDs), test plans, and reports.
  • Perform system integration and verification activities, including lab testing, ground tests, and in-flight validation when required.
  • Analyze and resolve issues during development, integration, or operation phases (troubleshooting and root cause analysis).
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and certification requirements (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, ARINC standards, RTCA/EUROCAE standards).
  • Contribute to project planning, risk management, and progress reporting to meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
  • Act as a technical point of contact with suppliers, customers, and certification authorities when necessary.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in communication or navigation systems engineering in the aerospace industry.
  • Solid knowledge of avionics systems architecture, RF communications, or GNSS/inertial navigation technologies. • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and certification processes (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, ARINC, RTCA standards).
  • Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary, international environment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.

Why join us

• Work on state-of-the-art aerospace programs.

• Collaborate with passionate experts in a dynamic, high-tech environment.

• Contribute to the development of safe, reliable, and innovative solutions for global aviation.
