Kikmo is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to join our team. This role involves showcasing the capabilities of our advanced semiconductor products across consumer and industrial sectors and contributing to various innovative projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Prototyping: Develop and document reference designs and demo boards to illustrate the potential of our semiconductor products. This includes creating PCB designs using schematic and layout tools, selecting board components, and building prototypes.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare various materials such as application notes, technical papers, and presentations for customers, emphasizing power electronics topologies and circuit advantages.
  • Analysis and Simulation: Employ or create tools for application analysis and circuit evaluation, focusing on efficiency, power loss, and thermal management.
  • Device Characterization: Understand and characterize our semiconductor devices, testing and evaluating prototypes while documenting insights for product development.

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of various power topologies and power electronics control
  • Familiarity with at least one simulation tool, schematic capture, and PCB design software
  • Practical experience in building and testing demo boards and prototypes
  • Experience with Wide Bandgap (GaN or SiC)
  • Proficient in technical writing, specifications development, and delivering engaging customer presentations
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in power electronics or a related field
