A company active in the Financial Services sector is currently looking to hire a Compliance & Ethics Advisor - AML/CTF and Economic Sanctions to join their offices in Brussels.
Your main responsibilities as the new Compliance & Ethics Advisor - AML/CTF and Economic Sanctions will include:

Provide anti-money laundering, counter terrorist financing, and sanctions advice to relevant stakeholders

Draw-up and implement anti-financial crime policies and procedures

Lead or contribute to the anti-financial crime training

Manage the tracking and review the anti-financial crime regulatory change

Assist with the definition and implementation if controls

Oversee / conduct anti-financial crime risk assessments

Take part in the management of the anti-money laundering monitoring programme

Assist the AML Compliance Officers in the definition and delivery of the annual plan including preparation of the yearly reports

Your profile :
You have a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification or relevant work experience, a focus in Law would be beneficial

You are fluent in English with excellent communication skills

Your strengths :
You are able to create and maintain working relationships across business areas and present information and recommendations to the management

Through your previous experience you have built a knowledge of AML and Sanctions compliance in the financial services sector or in management consulting firm

You have experience in project management, cross departmental work and in global teams
