Your role:

We are looking for individuals with a strong sense of purpose and ownership. This means that

you will be proactive, quickly adapt to changing situations and create value for both Initio and our amazing clients:

• During your assignments, you will help implement impactful changes and apply the best-practice methodology to ensure sustainable, innovative, and high-performance business transformations.
• Internally, as a member of our ESG, Sustainable Finance & Climate Risk Practice, you will be involved in research, white papers, training, and new offers development. This will allow you to broaden your competencies and build up knowledge whilst exchanging with your colleagues in an international and open environment.

Examples of projects in which you can be involved with:

ESG Strategy & Ambitions:

• Audit on sustainability challenges: materiality matrices, analysis of the impact of evolutions of the financial sector on a business model, benchmarks
• Definition of a sustainability strategy / commitments / CSR / low carbon / Net-Zero
• New business models
• Certification strategy

ESG Compliance:

• Lead and support the transformation within the departments concerned by the projects related to ESG Compliance with existing and new regulations (SFDR, ESG, Taxonomy, Green Bonds, Sustainable Loans, EBA/EIOPA Guidelines, NBB Circulars...),
• Participate in the impact analysis, framing and implementation of new regulations,
• Optimize the content on Non-Financial Performance Statements,
• Anticipate the impacts of future regulations and will actively work on regulatory monitoring.

Climate Risk:

• Climate data processing: mapping, analysis of the quality and stability of climate data,
• Implementation of Green Rating models, Modeling of Basel parameters (PD, LGD...),
• Methodological impact of climate risk on IFRS 9 provisions and on RWAs,
• Calculation of green weighting factor and green capital models,
• Implementation of climate stress methodology to cover the impacts of physical and transition risk, Implementation of portfolio mapping (identification of green assets) …

Are you the one?

• You have a Master’s degree in any relevant field (Business, Economics, Sustainable Finance, Law, Actuary, Data...)
• You have at least 2 years of experience in a consulting firm, a project environment, or in the ESG, Sustainable Finance & Climate Risk business
• You have knowledge and skills from the following list: Green Finance, SFDR, Taxonomy, (MiFiD) ESG, Green Bonds, Sustainable Loans, UNPRI, CSR, Climate Risk…
• Client & customer-oriented, you understand the needs and expectations of the stakeholders
• You have strong curiosity, analysis, oral and written communication skills
• Any additional business or project management certifications are a plus
• You speak native French or Dutch and are fluent in English
