POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an intern to work in the Consumer PR EMEA team, based at Radisson Hotel Group’s corporate office in Brussels! As part of the Consumer PR team, you will be helping us get the word out to our employees, guests and key stakeholders in the media about our key messages such as new hotel openings or exciting partnerships. You ideally have an interest in how Social Media and PR can work together to maximize visibility of Radisson Hotel Group and its brands. This position will report directly into the Director of Social Media & Consumer PR, EMEA. Candidates must be enrolled in a school program to be eligible.

DURATION: 6 months



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support with Influencer Outreach Program for the Group and its brands including assisting in searching for the right profiles, managing incoming requests, tracking content sharing, reporting
  • Support with departmental reporting including press release distribution and earned media value from hotel openings across both media and social media via media monitoring tools
  • Assist in preparing internal communications in support of Consumer PR activities
  • Work closely with Social Media team to maximize earned media potential of department activities
  • Support with PR actions related to brand activation activities
  • Assist in updating company website with press releases and coordinate imagery with external agency including social media banners
  • Support in keeping the communications calendar up to date in close collaboration with other key departments such as Corporate Communications
  • Work closely with the team including the Social Media trainee on department’s daily activities

A SUCCESSFUL TRAINEE:

  • Has to be enrolled in a school program in order to be eligible for the internship
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Journalism, Communications, PR, Marketing and/or Languages is preferred
  • Fluent English both written and spoken, another European language is a plus
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Great team player
  • Excellent project management skills with an eye for detail
  • Flexible and cooperative
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Good understanding of social media and digital communications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to align with company’s and department’s initiatives
