The Challenge

As Control Manager, you will be responsible for the financial control related activities for Belgium and Luxembourg, cooperating with different teams.

The role is based in Belgium (Leuven AB-Inbev HQ), within our skilled, diverse, and dynamic Finance Team and will report to the Business Unit Control Director.

The Role
  • Ensure compliant and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS and Local GAAP
  • Collaborate with the month-quarter-and year-end financial closing, collaborating with various departments and our Shared Services Centers.
  • Cooperate with the sign-off on variance analyses of P&L, Balance Sheet and supplementary schedules prepared by the accounting team.
  • Country business sign off and functional supervision for BSC back-office operations (OTC, PTP, Treasury, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, General accounting).
  • Country sign off authority for legal statutory accounts and overall quality and compliance with local laws and regulation.
  • Discuss external audit issues and findings prior to issuance of audit report, manage implementation of remediation plans.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Master’s degree in economics, business administration, accounting or equivalent.
  • At least 5-7 Years of relevant expertise in financial controlling, audit, accounting, or consolidation.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and/or Belgian GAAP.
  • Strong systemic, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English and Dutch or French.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and MS Office (especially Excel).
