- Improve short- and long-term business performance by driving our market understanding: overall market dynamics, new trends, customer insights and competitive intelligence
- Support/ lead key data and digital initiatives (incl. evolution to omnichannel go-to-market model)
- Lead key commercial and operational projects to improve business operations across both business units (Retail & Hospital/Biosimilars)
- Collaborate and support key commercial functions in prioritized initiatives / processes (Marketing, Sales, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Business Development, Launches)
- Drive and support Sandoz culture (self-awareness, curious, inspired, unboss)
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Market Understanding:
- Execute and share regular market analyses (general & deep dives) to boost performance
- Collaborate with the marketing & sales teams to identify and drive initiatives to meet customer needs and trends (e.g. customer journeys)
- Support the implementation of digital tools to improve market insights, competitive intelligence, and digital sales & marketing activities
- Scout for data and new sources and identify potential partners for future collaborations
- Support ad-hoc deep-dives and analysis to help the business
Planning, Monitoring and reporting:
- Partake in regular business review meetings with business units to challenge / frame performance and identify actions to improve our results
- Support the Head Commercial Excellence in ad-hoc request (e.g. business reviews preparation) and request from cluster/region
- Support in the preparation of financial forecasts, target preparation and strategic planning
- Monitor and track key projects across different functions and stakeholders
Project Management:
- Lead commercial projects from a strategic and operational view in line with company priorities
- Investigate and implement opportunities for growth and prepare according business cases
- Support and lead key process improvement projects to streamline and accelerate business operations
- Gather and leverage best practices within the organization by connecting with Cluster/ Regional Commercial Excellence teams
- Facilitate workshops and ad-hoc support of the management team
Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:
Minimum requirements
- University degree (bachelor/master) – preferably in business administration, economics or applied sciences
- 2-5 years of industry experience (preferably with 1-3 years of consulting experience)

- Fluent in English (strong knowledge of Dutch and French)
- Strong strategic and commercial mindset,
