Job Description

Acts as Deputy Management Representative in the absence of the Quality Manager. Ensures that quality processes, and procedures are in place throughout onsemi Sub-Contractors. Manages customer escalations related to Sub-Contractors. Reports key performance indicators such as PPB and cycle time, identifies weaknesses, and proposes improvement. Location: Belgium.

Performance Objectives

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
  • Impact and optimize SubCons management processes and procedures to serve image sensor business unit.
  • During escalations, collaborate and lead task forces to resolution and de-escalation through risk assessments, DOE, 5Why analysis, FTA etc.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
  • Report KPI results on monthly basis, including deep understanding of data trends
  • Identify key corrective/preventive actions impacting KPI and tack them to closure
  • Align with corporate customer quality and product quality to support customer incidents, supplier issues, and failure analysis investigations to meet designated cycle times for resolution in automotive, commercial and industrial segments.
  • Support corporate customer quality for intelligent sensor specific customer requirements in automotive, consumer and industrial groups.
  • Ensure NPI and sustaining with external quality and external manufacturing.
  • Automate activities to the full possible extent
  • Document and create training for new employees
Job Qualifications
  • BS in Engineering (preferably EE)
  • At least 5 years of experience in electronics or semiconductor product quality
  • Knowledge in quality management systems standards (ISO 9001, TS 16949, etc.)
  • First-hand knowledge of automotive quality management systems (IATF16949, APQP, PPAP) preferred
  • Knowledge in automotive disciplines is needed
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones when needed (will belong to a cross-continental team: USA, IN, Asia)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Autonomous and ADAS quality tools and requirements; ISO26262
  • Experience in leading task forces, experience in failure analysis
