Overview

For our location in Lier, we are looking for a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be part of the international sales team and will be primarily responsible for processing customer orders.

This role is well-suited for an autonomous worker who enjoys a challenge and derives energy from collaborating closely with colleagues from the sales team, our plant managers, production planners, transporters, colleagues on the production floor, and of course, our customers. This collaborative effort aims to contribute to optimal business operations.

Responsibilities

  • The administrative processing of customer orders, ensuring order confirmation, and managing associated invoicing are the basic tasks of a Customer Service Representative (CSR)
  • This includes accurately inputting orders into the ERP system and keeping customer data up to date in the CRM package
  • Other responsibilities involve confirming delivery times with the customer in consultation with production planners and anticipating/responding to deviations from agreements with the customer (such as production disruptions, transportation issues, etc.)
  • You will be the primary point of contact for customer complaints and function as an internal coordinator to find solutions
  • Additionally, administrative tasks include processing prices and price lists, monitoring volumes, and entering product specifications and payment conditions into the ERP system
  • Lastly, leveraging your product knowledge, you will provide internal and external advice on our products, delivery times, and standard sales conditions

Knowledge And Experience

  • You have a relevant bachelor’s degree in an administrative or commercial field, or equivalent knowledge through experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Fluent language knowledge in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French adviseably and/or willingness to improve your proficiency is a plus
  • You have experience working with ERP system (SAP, INFOR, etc.), a CRM package, and posess strong software skills (MS Office, espeically Excel)
  • You take responsibility willingly, are independent, and have a pragmatic mindset
  • You are a communicative team player, who values openness and honesty among colleagues
  • Additionally, you are service-oriented and derive energy from assisting our (internal) customer
  • You are resilient to fluctuating workload, enjoy variety, and can manage the occasional hectic nature of this role
  • When faced with challenges, you approach them in a logical and analytical manner, with the goal of finding the correct solution.
  • You are interested in our products and eager to become an expert with them
