About The Role

Within the scope of the Data and Analytics Solutions at Takeda, the The Data Product System Lead is accountable for various SDLC documents including Detailed System Profile, for Third-Party Security Assessment Report and Application Security Assessment Report as applicable, partnering with ISR (Information Security & Risk) representative. This function is technical, driving the technical vision and direction, taking decision on platforms in use and ensuring reusability of existing data, data products and technologies, responsible for technical execution.

How You Will Contribute
  • Manage product delivery within the Takeda portfolio and is responsible for the day-to-day development and alignment of delivery to the strategic vision. The Data Product System Lead is focused on technical strategy and roadmaps, delivery, release plans and communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Define the data product technology roadmap in perspective of the business vision. Define the strategic technology vision for the team driven by the overall vision, aligned with solution architects and embedded in the Enterprise Architecture.
  • Set ambitious and clear technical vision and communicate it effectively to stakeholders, the team, and the rest of the unit.
  • End to end technical team output strategy from inception to production
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure digital vision and products align within team strategy and requirements
  • Contribute to product specific KPIs once solution enters production
  • Work closely with functional partners to establish each product’s business value and support messaging, communication and customer outreach as necessary
  • Support release planning with stakeholders as well as demos
  • Function as a key role on multiple Agile team(s) and work with the teams on a near-daily basis
What You Bring To Takeda
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.6+ years demonstrating a high degree of proficiency in designing and developing complex, high-quality analytical data solutions
  • 6+ years of working experience managing IT initiatives within Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech environment
  • High degree of proficiency in designing and developing complex, high-quality analytical data solutions
  • Experience with BI/Analytics tools, data warehouse and data lake products, AWS or Cloud platforms, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Experience in stakeholder facing role; acting as a trusted technology partner
  • Experience overseeing multiple initiatives, simultaneously from beginning to end
  • Experience in budget planning and financial management
  • Deep experience leading/working with teams in an agile setting
  • Fluency in English
