Honda Motor Europe Benelux is the Sales Headquarter of Honda in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg and is responsible for selling Motorcycles (motorcycles & mopeds), Cars, Power Products (lawn mowers, outboard engines, power groups), spare parts and accessories. The products are distributed through an extensive network of distributors. For these activities we count on 60 enthusiastic colleagues on a daily basis in our offices in Zellik and Capelle ad IJsel (NL). They help make the dreams come true of so many people, perhaps yours too.

The Motorcycle Sales department determines marketing and sales strategies tailored to the market. In addition to sales support, we provide logistical and administrative support to the Honda dealer network.

As this role is field based the candidate will required to travel within the region with flexibility for overnight stays as needed.

Outline of the role:

▪ You analyse, develop & implement growth opportunities for MC on a short- and medium-term basis (1-3 years) in the fleet market in order to meet the organizational business objectives.

▪ You are responsible for reaching the accessory budget target and translate it in a marketing strategy.

Main responsibilities:

Fleet:

▪ Analysis of current market and the performance of our organization in the fleet market (B2B, B2G & riding schools). You understand the market and respond to news and trends within the motorcycle market.

▪ Detect new fleet opportunities by monitoring the market, evaluating potential and propose to Management.

▪ Maintain close contact with government, bigger fleet owners, riding schools and other stakeholders (e.g. finance companies), which can influence our business and brand image.

▪ You set up sales objectives & KPIs and assure the commercial results.

Accessories:

▪ Follow-up of the accessory business (forecast, ordering, publication, link to MH)

▪ Coordinate with marketing to ensure the development of promotion material for the accessory business.

▪ Responsible for the ordering/forecasting of accessories for regular sales and sales campaigns.

▪ You work as a coach to develop and follow up action plans.

▪ You know the market and respond to news and trends within the Motorcycle market

▪ You! Ensure a good representation of accessories in our network.

Qualifications, skills and experience required/desirable:

▪ You have a higher education and have at least 7 years experience in a similar position

▪ You are a born negotiator with a strong passion for the product

▪ A successful experience in the motorcycle sector or within a franchising structure is a plus

▪ You are dynamic and result-oriented

▪ You are passionate about two-wheelers and you carry out the Honda dream; possession of a motorcycle license is indispensable (or you are willing to obtain it)

▪ You are fluent in Dutch, French and English (both written and oral)
