Job Description

As Account Manager Bioscience North’s region , reporting into Belux Sales manager, you will collaborate with a diverse team to deliver innovative solutions to our customers, expanding existing business, and identifying new opportunities.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to apply sales, product, and territory knowledge to work independently in most situations.

· Thrive in a hunter-selling environment, proactively seeking new sales opportunities and relationships in the market, particularly within biotech companies, pharma industries, academic hospitals, food testing industries, CRO, CMDO.

· Influence the use cell culture plastic products, single-use disposable products, process liquids handling and analysis of cell and cultures products.

· Develop and execute a territory plan with the sales manager for business development within your account portfolio.

· Use judgement and prioritization to bring in the appropriate resources to drive sales objectives.

· Becomes comfortable with a farmer and hunter-selling environment and can work with back office to ensure they deliver the vital administration to bring new proposals to customers.

· Work closely with the technical teams to ensure the correct support allocation to key evaluations and projects in the region.

· Work closely with customer service, project, and product management to ensure flawless execution of opportunities and projects.

· Manage sales funnel and ensure accurate administration of sales opportunities in Aurea to meet KPIs.

What we are looking for:

· Academic degree (BSc, MSc) or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, chemistry ,…

· Knowledge of cell culture, liquid handling, and general laboratory techniques is a

determining factor.

· Ideally 1- 3 years with relevant experiences in sales and account management.

· Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Strong trade and presentation skills.

· Ability to establish short & long-term business objectives and work independently.

· Fluent in Dutch is a must , good knowledge in English.
