Mission
The Head of Process Solutions is responsible for the IT demand management, delivery and relationship management processes. This person also has all the know-how and monitors Agfa-specific processes. This includes liaising with Agfa’s BU’s at a senior management level and facilitating cross-process prioritization discussions:
Defines and establishes the IT demand management and relationship management processes and aligns them with the business and ESP
Provides support to the process solutions organization, reviewing projects, portfolios and proposals
Maintains strong relationships with business unit leaders and provides proactive proposals to the business for continuous improvement and innovation
Manages relationships with external service providers, ensuring the delivery of all solutions across the full systems development lifecycle; serves as the ultimate escalation point for all process solution projects
Ensures delivery of level 4 support (exceptional requests the ESP is unable to resolve) via the process solutions organization
Holds accountability for development of high-quality solutions at the best possible cost and timeframe.

Strategy and target architecture
Develops understanding of multi-year business goals across all units and drives complementary multi-year IT investment plans (together with ICS Finance)
Regularly reviews the target architecture to ensure it is consistent with business’s changing needs and technology opportunities and provides input to the enterprise architecture function
Defines and implements the organization’s IT roadmap to take the organisation from the as-is state of architecture to the target architecture in the most effective way, balancing cost versus time
Supports governance processes (set by enterprise architecture) that ensure compliance with the target architecture across all areas of the ICS business
Provides a principled way for non-compliance to occur if there is a true need, and to bring that non-compliance back into compliance
Manages out non-compliant applications and infrastructure over time to reduce costs.
Fosters innovation and bring technical improvements and opportunities to the business
Demand management and delivery assurance
Maintains an overall portfolio view of business change, including recognizing impacts and dependencies and enabling synergies by leveraging ICS and ESP resources
Maintains the overall ICS roadmap and facilitates cross-process (e.g., customer experience vs collaboration) prioritization discussions
Engages and collaborates with business unit leaders to identify strategic and innovative uses of technology to drive business growth and profitability
Reviews portfolio and investment plans for each business process category and input into Agfa’s budgeting cycle, balancing IT supply with demand
Approves project funding and monitors overall portfolio spend incl. alignment to ICS strategy
Defines and establishes the IT demand management processes and aligns them with business, ICS and ESP.
Holds ultimate accountability for the delivery of all process solutions and the handover of projects to live operations.
Relationship and communication
Defines and establishes the Relationship management processes / guidelines and aligns them with business, ICS and ESP
Evolves the relationship structure between the business and vendor at a strategic level and a tactical level in order to create added value
Team management
Provides direction to senior process managers, including reviewing project plans and deliverables, providing support and resources required in implementation and signing off key projects and escalated requests
Level 4 support
Ensures retention of select functional knowledge to support ESP in the most challenging incidents & problems by identifying the critical areas to retain and making sure his/her organisation absorbs the knowledge
Profiel
Master’s degree, ideally in IT related domain, or equal by experience
15+ years of experience in business relationship management in an enterprise environment
7+ years of experience in project / program management in IT, including managing demand and developing business cases
7+ years of experience in managing and collaborating with third-party external service providers
5+ years of experience in the business processes within Agfa or a comparable organisation
Understanding existing systems and technology
Understanding business organisation and practices (approaches, culture...)
proven leaderships skills, you are capable of inspiring stakeholders and building trust
Focus on results and can adapt yourself in a strong changing environment.
Good communication skills and are fluent in Dutch and English
