Short Description:
We are looking for a strategic Business Developer or Project Expert in Digital Insurance, who will build, negotiate and set-up large cross-border Insurance Distribution Deals with actors of the digital economy.
You have a deep understanding of setting-up large insurance programs, have a "can do" mentality and a "closer" attitude. You will deal with all the actors of the digital economy (Start-Ups, Delivery platforms, FinTech’s, Gig Economy platforms...) who share our DNA.
Join us on an ambitious entrepreneurial journey aiming at disrupting the European insurance market.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our Lead Generation colleagues to target and contact potential Leads for new Digital Insurance distribution deals.
- Also, answer to RFI’s/ RFP’s
- Discuss with the prospects (Start-Ups, Delivery platforms, FinTech’s, Gig Economy platforms...) to present our offer, define their needs and build together a viable solution. If needed, Educate your prospect/client on insurance solutions and needs
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (legal/insurance team, Servicing, Claims) to build the solution.
- Collaborate with our underwriters and external reinsurers to find the right capacity for each deal.
- Create deep relations inside your prospect/client organization and proactively follow-up the implementation of the deals and the lifecycle of the implemented deals.
Requirements:
- Be a Digital Native, Start-Up / Scale-Up minded
- Deep understanding of large insurance programs, from a Project or Business development side.
- Experience’ in developing Digital Insurance Programs , answering RFI/RFP’s, building strategic Distribution deals and Products
- Large expertise in enterprise sales and long sales cycles
- Pro-active on client needs, speed is the key
- 5-10+ years of customer facing experience
- Tech affinity is a huge plus
- Be fluent in English and at least in French or Dutch
- Be fun !
