The Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the organization business goals are achieved through identifying and documenting clients’ business requirements and business processes.

The Business Analyst acts as the liaison between the various business stakeholders and the project team.

Key responsibilities

  • Business Requirements elicitation, documentation and validation
  • Keeping the right balance between quality, cost and timeliness
  • Chairing workshops and facilitating communication between the business stakeholders and the IT teams
  • Collaborating with IT/functional analyst to find appropriate solutions based on the business requirements
  • Reviewing functional specifications and design
  • Executing and coordinating users acceptance tests
  • Reporting status to project manager
  • Following defects resolution during acceptance testing phase
  • Identifying scope deviations and managing change requests
  • Training the end-users to the new system/process
Profile

  • Master degree in Economics, Management, Engineering, Computer sciences or any related studies
  • Proven experience in Business Analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Team-player capable to work autonomously in a fast-changing environment
  • Ability to prioritize work while managing urgent requests
  • Fluent in English, French and/or Dutch. German will be considered as an asset for Luxembourg office
  • Familiar with Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • The following will be considered as an asset:
  • Experience in the Financial?Services?Industry or Insurance Industry
  • Knowledge of modelling language (UML, BPMN) and tool (Enterprise Architect, Modelio, Aris, Visio, etc.)
