To support the Business Intelligence team of a global insurance brand with office in Brussels, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated ’Business Intelligence specialist’ with relevant and hands-on experience.

The team is responsible to deliver internal and external reporting related to Insurance Services activities, support the management processes and drive BI innovation.

More concretely this means:

Operational reporting

  • Sales penetration in collaboration with branches and EU HQ.
  • Units in Operation penetration in collaboration with branches and EU HQ.
  • Repair Steer back reporting.
  • Business and financial Product Burn Rate (PBR) reports for Service Products (SP).
  • Ad-hoc reporting

Manage and/or support management processes

  • Commercial Strategy Planning process.
  • One Plan process across various entities in the group.
  • Annual commercial target setting process.
  • Meeting preparations for European Director Committee, Business Executive Committee (BEC) and various business steering meetings

Application ownership

  • Service Products Reporting solution providing detailed Service Products reporting and analysis for business users: Partly live, further development ongoing.
  • Developing country Reporting solution providing commercial KPI reporting for branches
  • Car Sales Reporting (CSR) for general use and reference by TIS BE.

Third party data tools use

  • Data entry & data extraction across tools operated by various other entities in the group

Your profile:

Education:

Business oriented education, preferably in the insurance/finance area.

Experience:

  • Graduate or up to 5 years of working experience, preferably in the insurance/finance area.
  • High level of affinity and knowledge of BI technology, preferably with SQL and PowerBI.
  • Ability, interest and willingness to apply BI technology to add value in a hands-on manner.
  • Able to work in an independent and hands-on manner.
  • Good communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
  • Able to work with different stakeholders (business, IT, finance) from different cultures.

Prepared to work from Brussels office at least 3 days/week.

Language: Fluent in English (corporate language).
