Specific Working Conditions:Work mainly based in Mons but travel may be required to Naples. Some work may be required outside of normal working hours.

Duties And Role
  • Design, Plan, install and configure new equipment to data centers including fiber and copper cabling
  • Perform troubleshoot on data center, identify issues and assist in timely resolution of same
  • Carefully examine power sources and heating and cooling controls, evaluate machine temperature levels for optimal performance
  • Give technical briefings and presentations; write and/or review technical reports, designs and point-papers for publication
  • Leading the coordination with the vendor for the completion of the work according purchase order
  • Communication within NCIA for the arrangements to complete the implementation of monitoring features
  • To support the team with daily
  • To report to the Service Delivery Manager
  • Performs other duties as may be required
Requirements

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
  • The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
Sound knowledge of data center environments, servers, storages and other equipment and virtualization including:
  • Data center cabling and infrastructure
  • Rack and aisle buildout and installation
  • Power consumption calculation, monitoring
  • Power and cooling capacity management
  • Power distribution and power redundancy
  • Floor and rack space density calculation
  • Cabling strategies
  • Cooling architecture
  • Forecasting and accommodation data center growth
  • Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipment
  • Proficiency in documenting current design&configuration and to develop/maintain Standard Operation Procedures/Instructions and training guidance
  • Experience with Implementation and Usage of DC Expert Tool by Schneider Electric
  • Experience with Implementation and Usage of NetBotz system by APC
