Job Purpose and Impact

The Cargill Beauty EMEA Sales Director will lead and develop strategy, sales teams and processes to achieve set revenue and margin targets. In this role, you will provide strategic vision and tactical direction, oversee and direct the responsibilities of employees and represent the organization in promoting and selling the company’s products and services.

As part of the global Cargill Beauty Team you will help drive the continued success of a strategic growth business that has doubled in sized every 3-4 years through both organic and inorganic growth. Responsible for EMEA there is huge opportunity to expand the business and take full ownership of market and sector growth through direct customers and distribution.

Key Accountabilities
  • Organize and coordinate sales operations in a specified geographical area.
  • Evaluate market potential and the status of sales in the area.
  • Plan and organize sales projects and activities for a geographical area.
  • Identify potential customers and nurture existing customer relationships.
  • Plan, develop and deliver the marketing strategy for products, services and associated brands.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
  • English proficiency
  • French proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of supervisory experience, ideally managing remote teams and working in a global environment
  • Experience in the Beauty and Personal Care Industry
  • Experience working in a medium to large matrix organization
  • Experience of both base commodities and specialities
