About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing Belgian company with activities throughout all Western Europe. Their offices are located in the South of Brussels, and they show a strong commitment to flexibility.

Job Description

  • Lead the accounting team
  • Supervise all accounting operations (AP/AR, GL, Cost accounting, Treasury and fiscal matters, etc)
  • Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing process
  • Coordinate the preparation of internal and external reporting requirements
  • Develop accounting policies in regards to internal controls
  • Assist the controlling and audit teams on ad-hoc requirements
The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor in Accounting
  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar position
  • A first experience in people management is mandatory
  • Experience in an international and/or publicly-listed company is an asset
  • Fluency in French, Dutch and English
  • Excellent knowledge of BEGAAP standards
  • A first experience in ERP implementation can be considered an asset (not mandatory)
  • Team player, with an interest in improving processes and acting as a change manager
