For the Belgian Office in Vilvoorde we are looking for a Claims Handler for the French Market.

You will work dedicated for a client – an international company that operates an online marketplace for lodging, primarily home stays for vacation rentals, and tourism activities.

Most of the Claims will be Property/Liability related.

Description

  • You will be responsible for the opening of new claims files: gathering information about the coverage, analysing the claim, the liability and the causal circumstances of the claim
  • You will accept or refuse the claim
  • You will communicate with all parties involved (internal and external) in order to ensure an efficient exchange of information on a given claim (brokers, experts,...)
  • You will appoint experts if necessary
  • You will take timely decisions according to the applicable rules
  • You will award compensation to the parties involved
  • You will stay up to date of the latest regulations

Your profile

  • You have obtained a bachelor degree
  • Knowlegde Property/Liability Claims
  • You have an affinity with the insurance sector
  • You have an excellent written and oral knowledge of French/English
  • Moreover, you work both in a team and independently
  • You are organized, customer- and deadline-oriented
  • You have good analytical skills
