Job description:

• In charge of the operational and commercial controlling for three legal entities (two industrial sites and one commercial office).
• Management of all finance-related responsibilities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and Group policies.
• Record to Report: Ensure timely closing of books, manage financial statements, and oversee tax compliance, credit management, and treasury.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Monitor costs, analyze financial indicators, and build forecasting models to support business performance.
• Business Partnering: Act as a change agent promoting a finance-conscious culture, preparing financial analyses for business reviews, and assisting in decision-making processes.
• Risk Management: Analyze and mitigate financial risks related to FX, metal exposure, credit, and cash liquidity.
• Internal Control: Ensure effective financial controls, compliance with Group policies, and manage internal/external audit processes.

Requirements:

• Fluent in SAP with extensive experience in financial modules.
• Expertise in controlling, particularly as a business controller in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, credit management, treasury, and contract management.
• Experience managing legal and statutory requirements, specifically in Belgium’s legal and tax environment.
• Experience working with multiple legal entities and sites across different countries (Belgium, Greece, UK).
• Proficient in financial reporting to senior leadership, with a comprehensive understanding of financial performance metrics.
• Familiar with managing shared service agreements for finance, accounting, and treasury services.
