Creative Director - Benelux (Amsterdam OR Mechelen)

We operate globally across more than 45 cities, 23 countries and six continents. Our Benelux offices are based in Mechelen and Amsterdam, reporting to the London EMEA HQ.

We’re seeking a visionarybut sufficiently hands-onCreative Director (both “thinker” as “doer”) who is passionate about people, driven by design, and inspired to innovate. Our ever-growing team needs a multitalented creative who can help lead the charge on a variety of projects while also contributing to the development of the Benelux Brands & Properties department in 360° full service sports & entertainment marketing, events and activations, both for brands as for rights holders (clubs, teams, leagues, festivals, etc.).

You will not only think of great angles, concepts, campaigns, taglines or production ideas, but also have the skills to execute them, combining your own hands-on skillset with the ones of internal or external colleagues and teams.

What You’ll Do –

As one of our senior colleagues in the Benelux team, you’ll work closely with project & account managers across multiple projects, reporting to the Benelux Country Director (SVP).

This is where your versatility and active management prowess come into play by helping grow the entire team’s skills, inspire their minds, and manage their day-to-day needs. You’ll work in lockstep with account leads, project management and internal/external production to ensure the creative output of the team is the best it can be, both for ongoing projects and clients, as for new pitches, RfP’s, briefings…

From anticipating client callouts to knowing what production is going to say about a concept, you’re the brand expert and the first line of feedback for ideas. Your keen sixth sense helps you identify where the process can run smoother while making ideas stronger. As creative advisor to clients, your aim is to support our brands & properties while helping push them to bigger and better places — This means taking a deep dive into what’s going on in the world and within the industry to stay innovative and keep clients relevant in their respective spaces.

Requirements

• Oversee ideation, execution and delivery of creative needs & projects
• Own the creative output & maintain quality control
• Translate client and project challenges into creative solutions, concepts and execute them, both hands-on as in leading internal and external teams
• Maintain positive relationship with interdepartmental teams and our clients
• Able to take on specialized roles on projects
• Work with third party vendors and/or partner agencies
• Anticipate challenges across projects
• Maintain an understanding of clients, current and upcoming projects, team skillset, and project types to be able to provide recommendations around staffing
• Inspire, challenge, contribute and lead to help obtain new briefings, RfP’s and win pitches and clients
