We are currently seeking motivated Embedded Software Engineer (m/f) to join our team. By joining us, you’ll be part of a leading company that is shaping the future of hybrid transmission technology.

About the Job

The Embedded Software team is part of our R&D department in Sint-Truiden that develops our automatic transmissions, hybrid and full electric powertrains. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining the Embedded Software of our existing and future products. You will contribute to the creation of the Embedded Software in the following ways (but not limited to):

Responsibilities

  • Specify, design, document and implement software functionality
  • Design the test specification and write the test cases
  • Develop new and maintain existing embedded software projects
  • You work with product teams and the application software team to design and develop solutions to challenging problems.
  • Assist in diagnosing software level issues

Key words:

  • Embedded, C, unit testing, Misra, AUTOSAR, Polarion, JIRA, Subversion, Vector toolset, Agile/Scrum, Continuous integration

Qualifications

Required:

  • University degree in applicable field or equivalent through proven experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in embedded software
  • Good understanding of embedded hardware/software systems
  • Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation as required
  • Good written and spoken English
  • You are a perseverant person with a goal-oriented and analytical mindset

Preferred:

  • Expertise in bootloader design
  • Experience with automotive toolset Vector
  • Experience with either KPIT or VECTOR AUTOSAR stack
  • Experience in Functional Safety (ISO26262)
  • Expertise in AUTOSAR
