Always wanted to work for an in-house marketing and communications agency at a well-known retailer? You will be the strategic partner for the internal brands to achieve their communication goals. Strategists, photographers, webmasters, designers, copywriters... They are all eager to carry out high-impact campaigns for their brands. As an Senior Account Manager, you are the overall guardian of the quality of these achievements. And that starts with building a sustainable relationship with your internal clients. You know their needs and are the strategic sparring partner they rely on. You translate the marketing strategy into omnichannel communication plans. You manage the communication specialists and ensure that effective advertising messages reach consumers in different media (TV, print, online, radio ...).

What do you do specifically?
  • You are responsible for omnichannel communication plans, based on the strategic plans of our different non-food brands.
  • You follow up with the account team the realizations of communication and marketing projects that are strategically important.
  • You supervise the strategic briefings of your internal clients for the communication specialists.
  • You evaluate the quality of the realizations at a high level and make adjustments where necessary in order to guarantee quality.
  • The media landscape is evolving rapidly. You make sure that you stay up-to-date in the field of omnichannel communication and strategic marketing. Your focus is strongly externally oriented and you follow up closely on changes and ’best cases’. You also bring these into the organization.
  • You work from our office and you can work one day a week from one of our regional offices.

Your profile
  • Knowledge and experience - You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and have at least 8 years’ experience in an agency. In addition, you have built a strong background and knowledge in omnichannel, strategic marketing communications.
  • Rational and steadfast - Because of your broad baggage, you stand firmly in your shoes and you are not easily swayed, even when faced with major challenges. You are good at assessing situations and rely on your own knowledge and experience to positively influence decisions.
  • Strategic strength - You are a conceptual thinker and quickly link the needs of your internal clients to market trends and customer needs. In this way you formulate a rock-solid strategy for the roll-out of an assignment.
  • Customer orientation - In everything you do, your internal clients are central. You build a good relationship with them and tactfully respond to their needs.
  • Result-oriented - Colleagues can count on you: you keep your promises, deliver projects on time, within scope and budget and achieve your objectives.
  • Team player - You work independently, but are a smooth team player who goes for joint success.
  • Language skills - You communicate fluently in Dutch and have a good basic knowledge of French and English. This way you can build a good contact with all your employees, partners and stakeholders.
