At Too Good To Go, we dream of a planet with no food waste.
Imagine if there was something we could all change today that would reduce global warming by 8%. That’s how much food waste contributes to the climate crisis, and yet we continue to waste more than one third of all the food produced in Europe.
We’re on a mission to change this and are rapidly expanding in Belgium. Our app connecting businesses with unsold food, and consumers willing to buy at a discounted rate has grown exponentially since 2016 to become the biggest in Europe, with over +50 million users, and more than 110 million meals saved.

Your mission
We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and mission-driven Head of Sales with a passion for tackling food waste in a commercial way. You will play a pivotal role in the growth of Too Good To Go by strategically leading an enthusiastic sales team of +15 waste warriors in a fast-paced scale-up environment without losing sight of our mission.
Reporting the Country Manager in Belgium and as part of the Belgian Management team, you will also take part in our international excellence for where best practices and learnings are shared across borders between Heads of Sales in other Too Good To Go countries and the Global Sales Management.
Your role
Leadership
- You manage a team of +15 persons and to be developed. 2 sales managers and one sales analyst report directly to you.
- You inspire and empower your team and make sure your experts have everything they need to run their area of ownership. You lead from trust and by example and bring inspiration, tackle challenges and boost motivation to drive performance.
- You build and develop a productive and engaged team: Through training, experience sharing, coaching, raising the bar - and celebrating success!
- You will be connected with HoS in other countries sharing best practices, network and connections on a day-to-day basis and meeting up every 6-months in real life.
- You impact the development of the whole company with a key role in the Leadership team beyond the Sales scope. We will build the inspiring and innovative company (culture) we want and envision.
Sales
- You are responsible for the national sales strategy: Identify and prioritize the market depending on the potential and development of opportunities to support hyper growth in our scale-up environment.
- You optimize the impact of partnerships we have, optimizing the sales process, post-sales quality and delivering long-lasting partners.
- You work closely with Marketing, Success and Key Accounts to develop a coherent and strong sales strategy for Belgium.
- You collaborate closely with the international Sales colleagues and strive to improve existing processes and partnerships.
Requirements
- You have professional experience as an inspirational Sales leader. This has exposed you to different sales environments that you can draw on to lead our sales team to impact.
- You are fluent in Dutch and/or French (both is a +!), and in English.
- You are an experienced sales Swiss knife who understands B2B sales and is highly skilled at coaching and inspiring others on how to do what you do best.
- You know how to drive a strong sales culture and how to strike the balance between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation to build a high performing team.
- You love sales and all the thrills that come with it. You’re a competitive team player that thrives when you succeed in closing a deal. You have a proven track record of setting ambitious targets and consistently reaching them with your team.
- You are a make-it-happen person who doesn’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves and lead from the front, but also plans for the strategic long-term.
- You have strong hands-on analytical skills (excel) and a deep understanding of a CRM such as Salesforce. You trust in data-driven truths to improve your operations and coach your team.
- You have a true passion for our food waste movement - you understand the urgency of action for the planet and are motivated to do something about it.
- You are driven by change and love a day-to-day that constantly changes.
