As HEOR Manager you will be responsible for the development and implementation of high quality HEOR strategic activities to maximize the timely and optimal reimbursement of the innovative portfolio of BMS and to secure this reimbursement.
TheHEOR Managerwill report to theHEORLead.
Main responsibilities
- Propose HE strategies in order to proactively contribute to the pricing and reimbursement strategy. Provide data on HE for BMS portfolio opportunities.
- Lead the adaptation of existing health-economic models (provided by Global) to the local needs and guidelines and improve them.
- Contribute to the pricing and reimbursement dossier by preparing an HE summary according to the local guidelines. Coordinate accurate responses to HEOR related questions from the authorities during the entire reimbursement process. Provide assistance from an HEOR perspective during the negotiation period – if applicable.
- Anticipate possible questions and criticism upon the HE analysis from the authorities based upon feedback from other HTA bodies in liaison with WWHEOR colleagues.
- Keep track with and anticipate trends, rules and policies related to HE in Belgium and Luxembourg (transform challenges into advantages for BMS).
- Monitor competitive HEOR- environment and inform the local team as well as the WWHEOR team of key access decisions in the drug’s disease area.
- Ensure timely collection of RWD/E as requested by the authorities by applying innovative methods, including hospital data warehouses.
- Serve as the RWD/E expert with an in-depth understanding of multiple types and sources of real-world data (e.g. electronic health records, hospital data warehouses, disease registries…).
- Assist in database evaluation and selection activities as needed.
- Investigate, critically appraise and apply innovative methods, technologies and tools to better leverage real world data.
- Explore novel ways to refine and streamline routine analytics through the development and application of robust approaches.
- Regularly update own knowledge in the field up to latest standards.
Desired Experience/Skills
- Academic background in Biomedical sciences, Biology, Pharmacy, Epidemiology, Health-Economy or relevant degree or experience
- Experience in RWE data collection, including the use of data warehouses and electronic health records is an asset
- 2-3 years of HEOR relevant experience
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English
- Other competencies:
- Flexible, strong team player, ability to prioritize work, good communication skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to deal with a complex, challenging and changing environment
