Job description


To expand the current Human Capital team, we are looking for a new Talent Acquisition Officer. As Talent Acquisition Officer you will manage a part of the vacancies (on group level) and for this you will do the intake interviews & first selection of candidates. In consultation with your manager and the team responsible you will make a job description of the searched profile. Then you start the search, for this you work with temporary employment partners, our own website & database and of course through social media. You will expand your network via social media and follow up on interesting candidates. The ideal candidate for the job, which is your goal! Gradually you get to know the different divisions and entities within the group so that you get a perfect picture of the profile you are looking for. You follow up the recruitment from A to Z, from screening the candidates over the preparation of the employment contract to the welcome on the first day of work. Some of your responsibilities:

  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices

Profile
  • Degree.You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources Management, business administration, or a relevant, related field.
  • Experience.You have prior experience as a talent acquisition officer, or similar experience in an HR role.
  • Good knowledge of English, Dutch and French. You read and write proficiently and speak at a conversational level in all three languages.
  • Hard Skills. You have a good knowledge of Office. (Plus, any other relevant hard skills specific to the job)
  • Ability to emphasize with others. You can put yourself in another person’s shoes and have excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility. You can adapt quickly to new circumstances as they arise and can overcome unanticipated changes.
  • Drive. You have an initiative-taking ‘make-it-happen’ mentality and are endlessly energetic. You are target and result driven and have the ability to remain calm in stress situations.
  • Joy. You have a passion for your job and reflect that to your team and colleagues. You are optimistic and always try to see opportunities even in tricky situations.
