Over De Functie

Als HR Officer/HR Business Partner bij Solenis beheer je zelfstandig de HR-verantwoordelijkheden voor onze kantoren in België. Je komt terecht in een dynamische omgeving en werkt samen met je HR-collega’s van het Benelux-team, die gevestigd zijn in Enschede en Utrecht, Nederland.

Na de overname van Diversey door Solenis vorig jaar, verandert onze organisatie in een hoog tempo, en jij speelt een cruciale rol in het ondersteunen van deze transities. Je richt je op HR-advies, salarisadministratie, talentontwikkeling en medewerkersbetrokkenheid, zodat ons team effectief kan bijdragen aan de groei van het bedrijf.

Belangrijkste Verantwoordelijkheden

• Verantwoordelijk voor HR-operaties, inclusief payroll, HR-administratie en naleving van HR-beleid.
• Optreden als een vertrouwde adviseur voor managers, met advies over prestatiemanagement, talentontwikkeling en verzuim.
• HR-oplossingen ontwikkelen en implementeren in samenwerking met je HR-collega’s, met een focus op de groeiambities van het bedrijf.
• Deelname aan HR-projecten, trainingen en procesverbeteringen die door de wereldwijde organisatie zijn geïnitieerd.
• Bijdragen aan de integratie van Solenis en Diversey, met de nadruk op het ontwikkelen van een samenhangende HR-strategie voor beide organisaties.
  
  

Belangrijkste Taken

• Zorgen voor een soepele verwerking van payroll en HR-administratie.
• Sterke relaties opbouwen met managers en advies geven over arbeidsrecht, ontslag en verzuim.
• Deelnemen aan internationale HR-projecten en overleggen.
• Implementeren van HR-beleid en processen in lijn met wereldwijde standaarden.
• Wekelijks het Diversey-kantoor in Kampenhout bezoeken om ondersteuning te bieden.
  
  

Over Het Team

Je wordt onderdeel van een klein maar dynamisch HR-team in de Benelux, dat bestaat uit vier HR-professionals, elk met hun eigen specialisatie, zoals verzuim, juridische naleving, cultuur en projecten. Het team werkt nauw samen met korte communicatielijnen, wat een ondersteunende omgeving biedt om ideeën te delen en oplossingen te implementeren.

Wat Breng Je Mee

• Ervaring in HR met een moderne en proactieve benadering van veelvoorkomende HR-thema’s.
• Kennis van arbeidsrecht en/of verzuim is essentieel.
• Het vermogen om zelfstandig te werken, initiatief te nemen en structurele oplossingen te ontwikkelen.
• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden om zowel binnen de organisatie als met externe partners te verbinden.
• Opleiding op HBO- of WO-niveau, of gelijkwaardige operationele HR-ervaring.
• Vloeiend in de Nederlandse taal.

About The Role

As an HR Officer/HR Business Partner at Solenis, you will independently manage HR responsibilities for our offices in Belgium. You will be part of a dynamic environment, working alongside HR colleagues from the Benelux team, who are based in Enschede and Utrecht, Netherlands.

Following Solenis’ acquisition of Diversey last year, our organization is rapidly changing, and you will play a vital role in supporting these transitions. You will focus on HR advice, payroll management, talent management, and employee engagement, ensuring our team can contribute effectively to the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations, including payroll, HR administration, and compliance with HR policies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to managers, offering guidance on performance management, talent development, and absenteeism.
• Develop and implement HR solutions in collaboration with your HR colleagues, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
• Participate in HR projects, training, and process improvements initiated by the global organization.
• Contribute to the integration of Solenis and Diversey, focusing on building a cohesive HR strategy across both organizations.

• Ensure the smooth running of payroll and HR administration processes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with managers, providing advice on employment law, dismissals, and absenteeism.
• Participate in international HR projects and consultations.
• Implement HR policies and processes in line with global standards.
• Visit the Diversey location in Kampenhout weekly to offer support.
  
  

About The Team

You’ll join a small but dynamic HR team in Benelux, which consists of four HR professionals, each with their own specialization, such as absenteeism, legal compliance, culture, and projects. The team works closely together, with short lines of communication, offering a supportive environment to share ideas and implement solutions.

What You Bring

• Experience in HR with a modern and proactive approach to handling common HR topics.
• Knowledge of Belgian employment law and/or absenteeism is essential.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and develop structural solutions.
• Strong communication skills to connect with people, both within the organization and with external partners.
• Education at HBO or WO level, or equivalent operational HR experience.
• Fluency in Dutch is required.
