Purpose of the job
Providing Inside Sales support to the Sales Managers and Business Development Managers by actively identifying, approaching and acquiring new end users (and customers – resellers, system integrators) by promoting related Professional Audio products through effective telemarketing sales techniques to ensure end user satisfaction by performing the following duties.
For the interfaces part only internal interfaces are defined, no external interfaces, like B2B end-customers and AV-IT System integrators.
In this profile we are using different naming for the internal interfaces compared to the SM and BDM profiles.
- Manager Sales – should be Sales Directors
- Customer Service personnel – should be Internal Sales Support
- Addition: Trade marketing?
Main Responsibilities
- Create lists with relevant end users using project construction databases (BizCom), purchased end user lists, leads from tradeshow/fair.
- Create lists from own research.
- Contacts prospects through effective telemarketing methods and cold calling to qualify needs.
- Prioritize leads and select most valuable opportunities.
- Promotes and sells products and services through suggestive sales techniques to meet and surpass profitability goals.
- Provides end user with first level advice on products benefits and possible solutions.
- Applies the company’s sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers.
- Schedule minimum monthly number qualified face-to face appointments for the BDM
- Follows up sales as appropriate.
- Keeps management informed of all activity to include timely preparation and document activities in Sugar CRM.
- Works closely with outside sales staff, sales management and related internal departments.
- Engages in level 1 technical discussions with potential end users.
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends and competitive advantages.

Job requirements
Essential Skills and Requirements:
- Must have experience with extensive outbound business-to-business calls
- Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling techniques
- Demonstrated success meeting sales goals and growing sales
- Superior customer service attitude; able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English as French
- Basic knowledge Dutch
- Good active listening skills and phone skills
- Technical knowledge of company products preferred
- Good organizational skills with excellent follow-through
- Proficient PC skills and experience with CRM system.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with three years related experience in a telemarketing environment preferred and/or related training.
