FINANCE SPECIALIST

Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • All mentioned tasks need to be covered for the total subregion BeNeFraLux
  • Monitoring cost invoices and automated AP process (Scanman) at cost center level based on group cost center guidelines
  • Monthly, annual and ad hoc reporting to Global Finance
  • Checking suspense account, accrued charges and provisions
  • Contact with banks and other external partners
  • Preparation and payments with regard to Tax returns (VAT & corporation tax)
  • Input to Global Finance & Controlling regarding periodical forecast updates and planning process
  • Payroll administration: monthly reconciliation of payrolls based on input of absences and staff changes and payroll bookings
  • Monitoring and financial coordination of A/R and A/P input from external or outsourced service center
  • Follow-up on critical A/R issues and bad debts
  • Financial monitoring of commercial annual agreements, with regard to off invoice discounts and setting up the necessary provisions for internal reporting
  • Preparation and follow-up of fixed assets and depreciation reporting
  • Providing input and follow-up for the annual audit and year-end closing
  • Various ad-hoc reports to Sales teams or other relevant internal customers
  • Following up on lease and other car costs
  • Following up on group and local treasury
  • Main contact for external consultants regarding Finance, tax and other Compliance matters (WEEE reporting)

  • Higher education in accountancy
  • 5 to 10 years of work experience in an SME work environment
  • Proficient in Dutch/French/English
  • Experience with JD Edwards is a plus
