IT - Digital Workplace System Engineer - eWorkplace
Carrefour Belgium is looking forward to hiring a Digital Workplace System Engineer. Previous experience in retail, logistics, production or industry would be a big plus.
Job Description
Digital Workplace System Engineer provides technical support on the end-user systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for performance monitoring, and systems configuration, design and implementation.
He will take control over deployment and integration aspects of our end-user landscapes.
As a Digital Workplace System Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
- Create and manage software packages, applications and updates for deployment via SCCM.
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Good understanding of OS deployment methodologies and task sequence creation with SCCM.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- You propose innovative solutions that add value to the business
- You are able to investigate complex problems
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Provide 3rd level support
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Your Profile
- master or bachelor degree, in IT is a plus
- experience of min 5 years in a similar function
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft environments.
- Hands-on experience with SCCM
- Solid experience on Active Directory / Azure AD ( securisation / tuning )
- Familiar with IAM tooling
- Familiar with Google Workspace
- Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning ( GPO )
- Solid experience in deployment tooling ( SCCM / Altiris / )
- Experience with monitoring systems
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., Powershell / VBS )
- You are analytical, conceptual and open minded
- good team spirit is a must
- languages: EN + FR/NL spoken and written
