We redefine what an earplug should sound, look and feel like. Whether it’s hearing protection or comfort for your ears, Loop enables you to live life at your volume. Our founders Maarten and Dimitri started Loop back with a big idea. And a chronic ringing in their ears. Since then, we’ve helped more than 3,500,000 customers around the world to find quiet, enjoy great experiences and keep unwanted noise at bay.
In 2023 we grew from almost 100 Loopers to over 250 people. And that’s a number we would have to keep updating every month, as we are planning to double the team once again, this year.

Our headquarters are based in Antwerp, but with hubs in Amsterdam, Shanghai, and New York, we’re dotted all over the globe.

Not to brag about it, but we’ve recently won the EY Scale up of the year award, the Deloitte Fast50 award (for the second year in a row) and a couple of other amazing (international) prices. The New York Times named us ’best earplugs for concerts’ and thousands of noise-sensitive customers call us a ’life changer’.

And the team you will join?

The People team consists of Talent Acquisition, Business Partnering, Employer Branding and People Operations and you will be a part of People BPs squad. The challenge the team will face in the near future is sustaining Loop’s hyper-growth momentum while preserving our unique culture and fostering continuous employee development. As we expand, maintaining seamless onboarding across diverse departments and aligning learning initiatives with evolving business objectives becomes crucial to guarantee productivity and engagement.

The Learning & Development Partner will be the catalyst for overcoming this challenge. By intricately weaving a dynamic L&D strategy, this role ensures the smooth integration of new team members, preserving our culture. Aligning learning initiatives with business goals, the specialist becomes a navigator, steering the team towards measurable outcomes.


What will be your responsibilities at Loop?

  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning through training sessions, knowledge sharing, and recognition.
  • Creating and enhancing onboarding programs to expedite integration and ensure cultural assimilation.
  • Development and implementation of learning initiatives in line with our business goals and objectives, focussing on continuous employee development.
  • Utilizing a variety of learning methodologies, including online courses, to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Applying scalable (AI) technologies and modular content for efficient learning in a hyper-growth environment.
  • Integration of diversity & inclusion principles into learning and onboarding programs.
  • Prioritization of feedback mechanisms andperformance metrics to evaluate the success of learning initiatives.
  • Staying updated on the latesttrends & innovations in learning and development.

What do you need to bring to the table?

  • A master’s diploma or similar level of thinking / problem solving;
  • Min. 8 years of relevant experience in learning & development in-house;
  • Min. 3 years of recentstart-up / scale-up experience in a hyper-growth environment;
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) and other technologies from scratch;
  • Professional level of English; sensitivity to intercultural communication;
  • Demonstrated experience is setting up onboarding programs will be seen as a valuable plus;
