Main tasks

As a Terminal Assistant you manage the day to day operations of silo to make sure logistics operations can continue with minimum delay and minimum impact on production.

Day to day operations :
  • Manage day to day logistic operations by
  • operational planning on a daily basis for loading and unloading of seafreight, containers, trucks and trains;
  • hire necessary resources according to production-needs.
  • Administration and reporting
  • Manage general planning administration in ERP-system;
  • Manage general resources administration;
  • Manage stocklevels in ERP-system.
  • External contacts
  • Both by phone and by mail contacts with shippingcompanies, harbour authorities, suppliers and customers.
  • Peoplemanagement
  • Assist in the hiring process of new employees;
  • Handle corrective talks with employees;
  • Make sure all required competences are present and provide training if needed.

Master we are looking for ? Master recherché
  • Bachelor degree in logistics/ expedition/ maritime trade or equivalent by experience ;
  • Knowledge English and local language ;
  • ERP System.
