Marketing Coordinator

Join the European Marketing Team and become part of an industry-leading luggage brand. The Marketing Coordinator will support the Category Director and the Samsonite Travel team by providing operative and professional assistance.
Key Responsibilities

• Participate and conduct in-depth analysis on sales, market & consumer trends, competition data (to anticipate the consumer needs and ensure a correct market positioning)
• Support the European product team in launching new products: ownership of sample ordering and distribution, pricing, product photography, sales sheets, …
• Coordinate showroom set-up and salesmen samples
• Prepare and support the product and communication team in creation of sales materials like catalogues, POS materials, …
• Be a primary contact for the local European offices with respect to samples, pricing, product information, fair support, …
• Present product information to key internal stakeholders in a clear and comprehensive manner. Maintain excellent relationships with internal teams.
• Provide any other general administrative support to the Marketing Department to ensure a smooth organization of the whole department

Applicants should ideally:

• Have a passion and affinity for the brand and travel category
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Economics or Marketing. A first relevant experience in marketing or communication is appreciated
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Be self-confident, independent and a team player: Enthusiastic, flexible, responsive and determined
• Be pro-active and show problem-solving skills
• Have an eye for details and accuracy
• Have sold numerical and analytical skills
• Have an enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt to a multicultural and changing environment
• Have strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Be proficient in English, spoken and written. Knowledge of other languages is always an advantage
• Act as an ambassador of the brand
